Defense Mechanism

So, there's this girl that I really like and honestly, I want to confess my feelings to her. But since I'm a big coward and jerk I decided to tease and annoy her so she will notice me. Days passed and she got really annoyed and she's continuous in hitting me, almost everyday. I always hit her too and that annoyed her so much. Annoying her is my defense mechanism so she won't notice what I really feel for her. I don't want an awkward atmosphere when she's around. I don't want her to get away from me because she's creeping out. But hell, I didn't know that we feel the same! I'm a big fat numb, I know. But I'm happy that we feel the same!
