Heterometrus longimanus also know as "Black Emperor Scorpion" this type of scorpion is good for beginners, because they are not very aggressive and their venom is mild only, but not easy to feed.H. longi can reach an average of 10-12 cm long equals to 4-5 inches.I don't have species like this but my cousin have one, he said that this species is not easy to feed, he took 3-5 months in his h. longi become 3i or 3instar.

Base on my research, adult h.longimanus usally eat is super worms, cockroaches, small rat and many more baby h.longimanus eats small cockroaches like latias. H.longimanus are hard to feed because they are one of the slowest scorpion so they took time to capture the prey they use their pincers to catch the prey and the scorpions are viviparous it means development of the embryo inside the body of the mother eventually leading to live birth, to lay eggs. The H.longimanus is the same with other scorpion they are more active when it comes to night and they are nocturnal.
